Crossfire GB’s

  • Create a box ~ 15 yards x 15 yards
  • Each team has 2 players inside the box and 2 players on the outside
  • 4 players in the box play everything out “live” within the box
  • The players on the outside cannot go inside the box but they can move along their line of the box
  • A team scores a point by having a middle player scoop a ball that was rolled in by one of his teammates and then complete a pass to his other teammate on the outside
  • The outside players always roll the ball to the inside and the inside player pass the ball back out
  • If a ball rolls outside of the box, it is put back into play by the outside player on the line that it rolled out of

Thunder Dome

  • Create a Box around the crease circle (or cone off a small area in the middle) – no goal in the crease
  • 3 players from each team inside the box
  • 2 players from each team start in the middle around the crease and one in the corner
  • The coach puts a ball in the middle
  • On the whistle, everyone is LIVE
  • You win by completing 3 consecutive passes inside the box
  • If the ball rolls out of the box, the coach rolls a new one in

Half-Court War

  • Split into two teams of even positions
  • Have each team line up outside the side of the restraining box on opposite sides
  • There are 4 rounds to the game
  • Each round, each team decides whether they want to send 2, 3, 4, or 5 players – but they can only use each number once
  • They don’t know each round what the other group is sending so you could get a 5v2, a 3v4, a 4v4, etc.
  • On turnovers, you have to take it back by passing it to the coach
  • Any out of bounds, the coach will roll in a new ball
  • You win the round by scoring a goal
  • After each goal, you reset everyone to their sides, give the teams a few seconds to determine how many they are sending for the next round
  • Coach rolls a ball in to start each round
  • If after 4 rounds the score is tied 2-2 then the tie-breaker is a 1v1 round – each team chooses who they want to send

Keep ‘Em Out

  • Create a Box around the crease circle (or cone off a small area in the middle) – no goal in the crease
  • 4 offensive players inside the box
  • 2 defensive players inside the box (change the number of players of each depending on the skill level of your team)
  • The offensive team scores by having a player with the ball get both feet inside the crease circle with possession of the ball
  • The defense scores by taking possession and running the ball out of the box

Crossfire Survivor – Shooting

  • Create a box ~ 15 yards x 15 yards
  • Each team has 2 players inside the box,1 player on the outside, and 1 goalie in the cage
  • 4 players in the box play everything out “live” within the box
  • The players on the outside cannot go inside the box but they can move along their line of the box
  • A team scores a point by successfully passing a ball from the outside, into a player in the middle, who shoots and scores
  • Any time a player in the middle gets a loose ball, he passes back out to his teammate on the outside opposite of the goal
  • If a ball rolls outside of the box, it is put back into play by the outside player on the line that it rolled out of – a ball rolling over the line the goalie is on is similar to a goalie making a save (see below)
  • If a goalie makes a save (or after he gets scored on) he throws it to the outside player opposite the other goal
  • You can use tennis balls and have regular players play the goalie spots if you don’t have enough goalies

3v3 Feeder

  • Play Half-Court 3v3 inside the restraining box
  • Each team has an extra player behind the cage as a designated FEEDER
  • Every turnover you have to pass to your FEEDER in order to take it back
  • FEEDERS cannot be defended and must remain in their area
  • Also, FEEDERS have a 2-second rule with the ball
  • Any loose ball below the goal line goes to the FEEDER on that side
  • Play games to 3 points
  • Coach rolls in a new ball after each goal and out of bounds scenario

Crossfire

  • Create a box ~ 15 yards x 15 yards
  • Each team has 2 players inside the box and 2 players on the outside
  • 4 players in the box play everything out “live” within the box
  • The players on the outside cannot go inside the box but they can move along their line of the box
  • A team scores a point by successfully passing a ball from the outside, into a player in the middle, and back out to the other side
  • Any time a player in the middle gets a loose ball, he passes back out to one of his teammates on the outside
  • If a ball rolls outside of the box, it is put back into play by the outside player on the line that it rolled out of
